ABS BREAKING SYSTEMS AND TRACTION CONTROL

Modern day motor vehicles have various traction control systems and are known in different names, and used in various ways. This system which was limited to very luxury and highly sophisticated vehicles, is now seen introduced in middle class motor vehicles as well. As all traction control systems are designed in relation to ABS (Anti-Locking Breaking System), the first aprt in this text is set aside to introduce the existing ABS systems. Also the traction control systems like the drive by wire electronic systems are separately introduced in this text.

FUEL INJECTION AND MOTRONICS SYSTEMS

Petrol injection technology which was introduced to motor vehicles, from air craft technology continue the use of petrol injection in place of carburetors. The petrol injection system which evolved in this manner has never been published by any other language in detail other than this large text in sinhala for the first time in Sri Lanka.

ELECTRONIC DIESEL INJECTION

If electronic technology was introduced to a vehicle which had the earlier system. Definitely there will be a fault in the old system which cannot be corrected. In a diesel engine by completely removing the mechanical speed control governor system and introducing a electronically controlled governor system proves that the earlier produced diesel engines had faults in them. By studing the earlier engine faults and also the solutions introduced by the manufacturers to cover up the faults and the hidden technology in electronic diesel injection could be learned from this book.
